Definition - What does Tripti mean?

Tripti is a Sanskrit word meaning "satisfaction," "nourishment" or "the spiritual delight." It is the last of the seven stages of chidabhasa; the reflection of the universal Self in the individual sel, or the states of enlightenment.

Yogapedia explains Tripti

In yoga, tripti, santosha or contentment are defined as acceptance and understanding of the condition, situation and environment. It is an inner state of peace and contentment. It is a state of joy and satisfaction, regardless of pleasure, pain, gain, loss, prosperity or poorness. It should be practiced as a niyama and with a positive mind. It is a state of contentment with no desires, so one should first let go of their ideas of happiness and open their minds. A mindful and open-minded yoga practice is one of the approaches leading to tripti.
